My current research interest is to analyze physiologically observed phenomena such as repeated synchronous firings, the synfire chain, the spike-timing-dependent plasticity(STDP) using the Fokker-Planck equation. I am also working on numerical method to address the presence of up and down states existing in striatal and cortico-striatal neurons and to address an intimate relation between the synfire chain, STDP and working memory. Moreover, I am working on obtaining the time course of enzymatic reactions by integrating the corresponding Michaelis-Menten equations.
